Are the clocks u got williams ones?
Not bothered about spoiler or boot trim as I have mine. Has ti be decent condition and pretty near sheffield. Although could meet halfway or maybe if you are going to the rolling road ady next weekend in chesterfield I could get it.
A phase 2 one wold be nice if anyone has one. If its cheap...
Ok mate,
Ill e mail you some of my ideas. What i was gonna go for was probably a sealed unit like a viper kit and will feeds from somewhere in the front bumper so the air is just comign from the outside like you say. Not sure what design to go with yet. You say you have the front end of the...
Ooooh getting exciting. Im looking at so much stuff that is new to me its making my head hurt. Im printing it off and reading it at my leisure.
Cheers for everyones help. Keep the ideas coming. I am not an automotive engineer by the way so keep things fairly simple hehe.
All brake pads seem the same to me hehe. Trip down to halfords on a sunday usually . Mind you I have abs so whatever I do it cuts in when i use em hard.
I think we have some CFD software but my mate says its really hard and hes better at that sort of thing than me so i have no chance hehe.
Yeah the 16v and willy block is pretty much identical in every way isnt it.
Ill get some sketches knocked up and send em end of this week if thats ok...
I had problems. Prob spent about £800 in the last year gettin stuff done to it. But then again its a 10 year old car. I had to have a clutch and starter motor in the first few weeks of owning it which was a big bill, but now I have them done at least they are good probably another 8 years or so.
I bought a couple hehe. Cost me a fiver for 2. Dont even know where it fits. Just was interested what they both were. Are both pretty similar things. IAT timing tricker or somethin. Like ceramic or something. Are they actually bad for the engine then?
Cheers guys!
Im gonna have to get some reading done! Can you reccomend any good books I can find this sort of info? Might have em in the uni library maybe. This sort of thing is a bit over my head. Have done laminer flow in my second year and also fluid dynamics but that was over 2 years ago...
Yeah they are 16s mate. They are nice rims. Just have like a diff centre cap to phase 2 rims and bigger. i thought about some for my valver.
Dunno if they will fit cos of offset but i got 17s on my clio that were on a laguna and they are ok.
Mine taps too from cold. THink its just the 16v engine. Once its warmed up its fine. I usually let mine tick over for a few minutes before I set off. Its just the oil has drained to the sump.
I swapped the ecu. It is easy to check the ecu yeah but I cant be arse to take it all apart to get it out again. Its in a stupid place in the clio. Took it out enough times already! Adams_16v has a 19 16v so that should be the same number.
I cant remember what mine is. MY mate tried it on his and then I just tried it on mine and it worked so I fitted it. Cant be arsed to take it out again now hehe.
My 16v has got a Phase 2 Renault 19 ecu on it mate. I thought it seemed faster. The 19 was a K plate and mine is too. Im not sure if the torque curses or anything are affected by the ecu or anything. I might just be kidding myself. The chip in the 19 ecu is the same as in my phase 1 16v one but...
I dunno if you saw before but I am designing for my final year project a performance air filter design for my 16v. Some sort of air box with a feed.
I did a presentaion on my current progress and my lecturer absolutely ripped my work apart!
I am not that mechanically minded but I have a...
anyone ever have trouble when washing or polishing the car. The number of bloody times Ive knocked the f**ker off and had to take the inside of the boot apart to refit it!!
