the good thing about known issues is that they are known. Better than getting an unpleasant surprise that you never expected.
I had mine for 33000 miles. The only problem I had (apart from the points on my licence) was a leaky washer bottle.
Welcome to Cliosport, sport :D
Could do with tidying up a bit - get rid of the stripes, sunstrip, stickers and those daft red bits, not at all sure about that boot spoiler either.
But it does look really nice.
THey fill it full of a mixture of compressed air and a sealant to plug the hole. If you can get the tyre repaired or replaced without using the aerosol so much the better, it makes a hell of a mess (and saves you having to buy another aerosol!)
Jeremy Townsend on the Renaultsport forum. Theyll sell like hot-cakes now there are so few 182s left. Remember, were about to become a Renaultsport Clio free zone. It will be a year before you can buy the new one at least.
I think it went away completely when I got the rsport ecu fitted. Never even bothered mentioning it to the dealer though. Just seems to be one of those little features.
Not too difficult to fit as long as you can get under the car. Youll need some subframes that can take the seatbelt pre-tensioners unless youre fitting harnessses. Cobra can supply these. Yozzasport.co.uk do very good prices on Cobra stuff, and can give you all the technical info you need.
