Sounds like you dont have enough PAR2 files to start recovery, you can try and download them from another group or find another post.

Yeah good value i have that drive i paid about £65 for it about 6 months ago.

You can put it into a new PS3 but it will format it, the drives are paired when the system formats it for the first time. Unless you had your saves backed up i think you are screwed, google some repair methods you might have some luck.

Does take some attempts, just get a loads to follow you then do the sand throwing move. A good method to get them to run up some stairs and do it when they are bunched on the stairs.
