I have a snooper 850. I have to be honest and say I am not that impressed. Even in city mode it goes off at almost every set of traffic lights and every time you pass a supermarket! And the warning for gatsos is almost negligable.

I havent got a dog! Got two cats though and they are THE cats. And I can assure you that even if I did call MY wife , MY wife, she wouldnt be down the dealership ordering me a V6.:)
If you have a continuity meter with long leads ( this is what I did) connect one end to the speaker terminal that you know and just connect the other end to the plug with all the wires on the back of the stereo until you find the right one. A bit long winded but it works.
