I've got to do a policy review of some 150 PIX and ASA firewalls.
I have a word document I have to fill in with certain details, one doc per firewall.
Now I've written myself a nice expect script that'll ssh to all of the boxes and collect the config file and dump the results I want into a...

No Win 7 for the HTD HD2 (or any other current WinMo phones for that matter)
Apparantly the issue is with the amount of buttons it has. Win7 specifies 3, the HD2 has 5.
Also, from what I've been reading...
Depends on the phone.
If it's been locked to its Greek provider then you will need it to be unlocked.
If not, then it should work straight off.
Give it a try :-)
Silly question, but when was the last time you ran a defrag on your drive?
Windows 7 is the way though. Why do you think that most businesses stuck with XP over vista if they were sensible, but a lot of them are jumping on Windows 7 already? Vista is gash, take the oppurtunity to re-install...
might as well make that 00000110 then
I have a good test to see if people know the OSI model. I make reference to things being a layer 8 network issue.
I get a s**t ton on my MSN. Then again I've had my hotmail address for at least 13 years (I got mine back when it was called HoTMaiL (HTML mail, and wasn't owned by MS) and it's only 8 characters long, so it comes up everytime they randomly generate a spamlist
Having said that, MS's spam...
No need for a stylus. You want to click on something small, pinch to zoom and make it bigger.
Also, as it's a capacitive touchscreen, sylus do not work.
Sounds like the best idea would be to store the data itself in a database backend and then pull it into excel that way.
Or even better would be some sort of web front end.
Sensorly - This is a wireless coverage map application. It's pretty cool, has downloadable maps for most providers. It gets your position via GPS, then has a search for open WiFi connections and GSM towers, records the strenght etc, then uploads it to their servers. Their servers process it...
Finally got my VAT/import invoice today for £66
So the total cost for my Nexus one, direct from Google, along with the desktop dock and the UK charger cost me a grand total of £466.
Nearly got away with not paying the VAT invoice myself. I got my phone delivered to work, so in their wisdom...
Even after VAT and adding the desktop dock and the UK charger it didn't come to £599!
Though I haven't got the VAT bill yet from DHL, it should come to £471 with everything.
£599 is a total rip off.
Ajh, I see what you were getting at. My work proxy cropped the picture :dapprove:
The nexus one is similar to that, you get a whole weeks forcast though and it's a little smaller
That's the full screen images though, can't fined a screenshot of just the widget though.
No. Nexus One is the new Google handset which runs Android 2.0, though it's made by HTC, it is different hardware to the HTC Hero (Nexus has 1Ghz processor, Hero is 528Mhz).
But you could basically look at it as the HTC Hero 2 or something like that ;)
When you are having issues connecting, take a look at the LAN port on your PC.
1) Is the (usually) left hand light lit ? This is usaually the link light which comes on when there is a physical electrical connection
2) Is the link light on the switch a different colour to all of the other...
It sounds like an issue between your PC and the switch.
If the other PC and the PS3 doesn't have the issue then I would try the following.
1) Change the switch port you are using, maybe it's dodgy
2) Change the cable you're using
3) Plug the not working PC directly into the netgear (use the...
The Nexus One comes with a nice weather widget installed which picks up your location through mobile and GPS.
I can also highly reccomend beebPlayer. It's a hacked implementation of BBC iPlayer which allows you to stream over 3g no matter what network you are on.
Build quality is really nice. It feels very solid, and slightly cool to the touch.
The back is made of plastic, but has some weird coating on it that makes it feel a bit like graphite, we'll see how it stands upto scratches.
It comes with a neoprene pouch with the Android logo on it.
The...
Well, my Google Nexus One turned up today.
All I can say is WOW!
This thing is FAST! Even on a crappy connection. Messing around with it in the office where it switches from 3g to 2g to 2.5g and back and forth all the time it seems to fly.
The app store is a breeze on it. Hit the button...
If you do have it on the end, don't sit it on carpet, make sure that it is on a solid surface, take very little to wobble it slightly when its stood up on carpet and scratch a disc.
Blimey, just got notification that it's been shipped.
It's left google already and is at the Northeast Indianapolis DHL depot.
Maybe early next week (fingers crossed)
I still want to get hold of a copy of the PC Zone that ended his tenunre there.
It has a cartoon in it called "Helmut Werstler's Cruelty Zoo", which caused so many complaints that he never wrote for them again until their 20th aniversary. It was meant to be a pisstake of Tomb Raider and the...
I reckon it was either related to cache on the disc or error checking or similar. As I went from the standard 40gb 5k maxtor to a 120gb 7.2k Seagate with 8mb of cache.
I also have a feeling that it was one off the Pace pieces of crap :-)
