My insurance wasnt bothered that it didnt have an alarm (mines an import) and only wanted an immobiliser. I put an alarm on for my own peace of mind.

as long as you get the correct offset....or near, mine are 40....then you should get no rubbing. as for handling...then they do tramline a bit more and the turning circle is slightly less, but then you have to do a 7 point turn anyway. the acceleration is very slightly slower...not really...

You are indeed very unfortunate, but very lucky they agreed to replace it. There was certainly something underlying to make them agree to replace it without the threaten of legal action, and they do have 3 chances to get it sorted before they are obliged to replace. Anyway....the new ones...

Toad A850i ...... uses the same key fob and upgrades from 2-1. :) Mine was about £270 but that was 18months ago.

I have the full "quiet" K-tec..... (old man system... heheheh!) much better. Has the same sound as the full fat version but at lower dbs.
