no need to take the plastic surround off....it does unscrew from inside the bumper tho. Take the inner wing mud guard off covering the inside of the bumper...easier if you take the wheel off tho!!...only 3 screws and 2 plastic push pins. all will be revealed!!!! 2 star screws and out it...

alarm is an optional extra at Motorpoint. dont bother....not insurance friendly anyway. Youll be hard pressed to find an insurance Co that insists on one......and who takes any notice of them anyway!! Really go round it in the day light tho... got mine home after picking it up in the dark...

Just remembered...that was a V6 at the last RR day at Power engineering.

I know how every one rates the Unichip massively, but......they really are very high figures with just head/manifold work. What RR did you use? Roamers TBs was 197lb/ft torque (i think)

philip maybe i missed it previously but....what is the torque/bhp for your then, and what about mapping....did they use the original ecu??

are you mapping using a rolling road.....very interested in the results. How close to 200bhp do you think it could get???? how are you mapping...doesnt the MK 1 not have a serial port...or is it a chip?? so many Qs...this could be very popular at the right price as TBs and Turbos are...

how much more do you expect from the mapping?? and is it the original ECU??

If its "stealth" then probably cams and head work. think were in LAD territory again... surely not able to gain 30+ bhp Just tell us and and then we can all make more positive posts.

According to Px its every 20K, and they do a special cleaning kit apparently.

So if I book and they tell me im too loud do I loose my money??? Ive got a K-tech and Viper...anyone know if this will be too loud????

well....only live a couple of miles from them so popped in. Also the length of pipe you get in the latest boxs is too short...so blagged another off them. Nice bunch...they are aware of the problem with the cardboard ones and have upgraded them to the rubberised type. Also got the bigger...

dont even try to get the foam out...its bonded in place. as for the air feed....what type is it?? if its the cardboard type then give pX a ring and they should replace FOC .... they did mine for the rubberised type.

Anyone know roughly how much it would cost to have the front bumper repaired/resprayed?? only stone chip damage but I dont want it done on the car. I want it taken off so theres theres no edges. Cheers :D

Change the head first.....and you can still keep the stalk controls...just get a converter lead. Most new hus are 40/60w per channel so all youll need is a mono amp to drive the sub. Then depending how much you have left change the speakers. not up to date with what to buy tho...but sure...
