listen to that raaaaaassssspppp! the fit/finish of the exhaust is superb as most ppl will agree who hav the exhaust, was just wondering if the sound changes at all after puttin more miles on??
my mate has a Teg 1.8 vtec and my 172 can easily keep up with it (he has a race spec exhaust/filter, leads, etc etc...)

yeh i can see there is pleanty of room above the box but its the piping after the centre section which is already quite tight - the exhaust obviously expands as it heats up also so gotta leave a little bit of a gap. i ended up having to cut the old exhaust as even with the beam dropped as low...
i have just fitted mine and can still see the bottom inch&half of the bb showing - il have to do the same and readjust the clamps. the sound is superb tho...(guessin the decat is adding to the throatiness)
Can i buy or be sent some pleaseeeeeeee??!! got a YS decat nd just bought Ktec stealth mk2 so would be nice to put some names on the car (little bit of advertising for YS + Ktec too!)
i will do.am fitting it straight after work tomorrow so will do a vid on the weekend. anyone know if ktec deliver these next day cos the guy sed he'd do his best to get it out to me tomos but could be sat i supose...
can you take off the old exhaust in one piece when fitting the k-tec/after market system? the bend over the rear beam looks like it could be tricky to get the centre section etc over...
well i do about 60 motorway miles everyday........! il see what its like for noise when cruising at 70/80 if its bad il have to stick the old cat back on i guess. do we get discount from ktec????
so the stuff which you spray directly into the intake is pointless as well? i havnt tried any of them on my cup, tried it once on my old golf (it had done 72k miles tho) and it did make a little difference... I guess the newer the car the less effect these products have?
does anybody think any of these bottles of additive and horsepower-in-a-can sprays actually work?? iv seen one on a site called Splitfire Ceramic Power Booster which claims:
Simply add to your engine oil and it will bond a protective ceramic coating to the inside of your engine! Based on space...
just got a quote off elephant for £2250, put my old dear on the policy as a named driver and it went down to £1220! im 22 have 6 points and am a student....so thats not too shabby really!
