What locking wheel nuts you using? I managed to get a set of saab locking nut covers that fitted the standard renault locking nut. Cant find them spefically for saab on ebay any more but there alot of locking nut covers on ebay for different cars on there.
If i remember correctly in my megane, if i changed all three bulbs to led, they would dim and stopped on, if i changed the centre to a blue halogen bulb, they would all go off. But then i changed to rsmegane.nets own led packages and they work fine. So i thinks its issues with the bulbs.
I think the three types are the 182 looking 18” wheel, the multi spoke 18” and the r26r wheel which is on the clio 200 raider, they all fit, may catch a little on full lock, but then again they do on the standard wheels at standard height.
The r26 is a 230, the standard megane sport is a 225, so yes they are the same. You cant get a non r26 230 unless its the r26r. And the later 225 ran the same 18” multi spoke wheel as the r26 230, just silver instead of grey.
Yeh, could get away with cleaning the tip with abit of wire whool, and i dont know if the the metal tabs are earth related but give them a clean aswel.
Check the motor mechanism under the screen, the drain off can block up causing the area to fill with water, and cause the mechanism to rust and seize up. Can strip it it down and grease up and reassemble.
You repalce the lower rear gearbox mount, but cazan racing also sell poly bushed inserts for the top swing mount and may do inserts for the lower gearbox mount aswel.
