i'm stripping my ph1 172, hoping for 950kgs. I assume the lighter the car becomes the less tyre it will require.
i.e will it be nimbler on 195s at that weight than 205s??
I think my track is not as mide as the 182 either?

Just found this :)
Doubt anyone can better that????
I assume these disks will last at least 2 sets of pads?
ds2500's & brembo high carbons it is then
wheres the cheapest place to get each of these?
I assume its just the lower brake lines I will have to upgrade? I had these on my pulsar and they seemed to sharpen everything up...
I assume in brembo HC the "HC" stands for high carbon?
Fred what pads would you suggest on those HCs that will last a reasonable time, but be good for fast road and occasional track use?
PS. I dont want anything thing thatll damage my wheels either.
Has a VTS a few years ago, handling similar to the clio, but you fell much lower and more involved. My 172 ph1 feels and is alot quicker on the straights though and probably is quicker round the corners (just doesnt fell it).
Prefer the initial turn in of the clio though, really urgent
Cant answer your questions mate but can offer you some sympathy bloody british roads. Hope you get that paid for and more, you bloody should do.

same as from what ive read on here, but i cant see how they could be without damping adjustment, surely theve got to either be too hard for road or too soft for track?
unless you just drop the car lower for track days? but then thatll mess my geometry up!
Im suprised the h&rs are peoples favourite with no damper adjustment.
Does anyone on here use them on road and track as I would like to eventually? If so are they to soft on the track or to hard on the road in your opinions?
 I didnt spot these on that site.
Can people confirm these will fit my PH1 172 if so I will order these today?
These are the same kit ktec sell for £900 yea?
mrmahoosive youll have to tell me what your FKs are like when you get them. H & Rs are just so much money and noone seems to know where you can get them for under 850
got these on my black ph1 172 in silver, they look nice ;)
thinking about getting 10mm spacers on mine as they look a little to far back in the arch for my liking
I have a 172 ph1 and will be buying new tyres soon, the car will be on coilovers once I fit the tyres. Will porbably be buying either pilots / eagle f1s or paradas. Im undecided. My question is what do people reccommend 195 wide or 205 wide?
What are the handling charicteristics of each?
tom
where is the cheapest place to buy these? an ebay shop used to for just over 600 iirc but they don't seem to anymore.
Ktec charge close to 900, which is a massive differnece from 600.
Anyone know the cheapest place?
