I bought a FF RB 200 with cup chassis and recaros, for a very good price :P

trip computer shows an average of 26mpg, but if you use the miles on the car divided by the gallons used feature it shows an average of 38mpg. Don't know what to believe tbh, put petrol in when needed job done. Danny aye pollockshaws again had no issues at all in and away after 40 mins so...

tbh Danny the problems are that small that I forget about them, if and when they become constant I will have a rant about it,. On another note Renault fixed my passenger seat belt that they fitted the wrong way round lol it was the buckle hitting the plastic that was driving me up the wall.

I only have the second gear issue when cold, fine once its heated up but not that bad tbh. I also have the squeeky brake syndrom, but again very rarely does it and usually only when cold.

knocking noise at the back when you set off is more than likely the handbrake, apparently 197's have the same issue? Mine does the same

if you buy a standard 182 they will come with the standard silver alloys, if it has the cup packs it will have the standard alloys in anthrecite. Only the trophys (i believe) came with turini's but most people seem to buy them anyway so shouldnt be hard to pick up a set

Re: Diesel in a 182 I deal with fuel contamination claims in work and all I can say is good luck on getting anything from the garage. If they are decent enough though and realise their was a problem they should pay up if you want any advice mate drop me a pm

Imo I would try and buy as new as possible, It **should** eliminate any of the issues that the older cars have, i.e top mounts, driveshafts etc. I dont doubt for a minute though that you could pick up a mint condition older clio from someone on here which would turn out better than a newer...
