I used to have a 172 but i sold it for a vectra diesel for my mum and work and since traded it for the cc.

she struggles to lift her leg any height and the sill on the pug is about 6inches plus wide. so she struggles to get over the sill and into the car and then even more on the way out. plus as there is no b pillar on the pug she has nothing to help her get back out
before someone says it I know the clio aint ideal but its 10 times more practical than the 207 which is more or less a 2 seater. and I would be able to get my mum and dad in and out

I was at a stealers today where I seen a alien green clio 200 pre reg 59 plate on delivery mileage with the recaros.
I have been offered 14k for the 207 and the 200...
i have the auto dimming rear view and tbh i hate it turns everything green at night, though bonus is i dont get blinded. dont think i could handle dimming wing mirrors
the shocks on mine went and i got the above symptoms with it. apparently leak quite easily.
funnily enough im selling 2 brand new front shocks for £60 delivered m if intrested
nah time shouldnt be an issue any reputable engineer will be able to spot if the damage to the car is related to your original accident.
they may send an engineer out or arrange for another garage to inspect it depends ont he claim handler you get tbh. if it was me i would get an engineer to...
same thing hapened to me in my clio at the same bit mate luckily i managed to kee it out the barrier though all too frequent occurance there. soz to hear that tho
Why should the insurer not put you at fault? in the eyes of your insurer your at faiult until they get their money back from another party.
Very good chance that aint gonna happen here iknow if we insured the highways agency a would be knocking the claim back.

I am one that likes to keep a good rep since its a direct dial/email for me and if anyone asks who they dealt with ur name will always come into it.
the problem with a lot of insurance companys like normal motor claims is its a call centre so you dont have that name...

I deal with commercial third party vehicle damage albeit public liability claims on a daily basis, the claims i deal with can take anywhere up to 6 weeks to settle but i bet you wouldnt of known that...

Yeah i thought i done quite well out it tbh, plate transfer is £105ish and tax is £80 so really got a bit more than the 4200 that they gave me for the car itself

yeah got the vectra from there.
the worst thing is they have it sitting up on the ramps at the very front of the forecourt so i need to drive past it every morning on the way to work :(
mum had a 4th brain tumour, dad is not in the best of health either and i couldnt take either of them in the clio so had to get something more practical, also my work has moved to the middle of nowhere and it just wasnt practical for me at this moment in time.
