Yep its quite common. Just a routine check. You didnt do anything wrong, dont worry. My bro got one for toasting a (marked) police car off the lights and then cutting it up!?!?!
Id go for the yellow one (although my g/f hates yellow), over the exclusive. Really hate the Austin Princeses leather seats in the exclusive and not keen on the colour/alloys. No offence intended to exclusive owners, just dont like them!
15.1 @ santapod, mk.1 172, first ever go, 3/4 tank fuel, standard car, boot full of crap, bogged start, one cylinder, no steering wheel, diesel conversion. (just joking about the last 3)
I never held back in my old 172 on the corners, it gripped well but felt a bit boaty. Suprisingly the starlet is quite good in this area (could be the expensive suspension helping tho....)
First ever run with a bogged-down start in my old 172 mk.1 was 15.1 at santapod. Car was completely standard with 3/4 tank fuel and crap in boot/rear seats .

oh no thats awful. Thats shocking about the ice slide. Im thinking could you get another opinion on the damage. It sounds like a lot of damage for just an "ice slide wheel into kerb". I remember doing this to my scirocco and only needed a new control arm. Wheel rubbed on arch when i...
