I've got a set in the loft which i use for the occasional trackday i get round to doing.
Normally I would drive to/from the track with my PE2s on and then swap to the R888s... but it's nice having the option to drive on the road with them! handy if the road wheels are off for a refurb etc ;)...
the diff still spins, but all the torque goes to the disconnected sunwheel (which connects the driveshaft to the diff planet gear)
there's a neat guide on clio16v ;)
so it fits if you use the right brackets ;)
i've got a 172 alt on my PAS set-up... might need a custom bracket for the top bolt hole, but i just made one out of flatbar

but the reg is only about a year old from Renault!
I have a fuel pressure gauge in the garage... i could connect it and see what it's doing revving in neutral?

I've just 'cleaned' the air filter a bit (lol) and reposition the airbox so the pipes are facing down instead of against the battery, but doubt that will do much anyway tbh
I popped down to Surrey Rolling Road today for the RR day and popped the 172'd mk1 on
I first ran it with rstuner group n and then with the 98ron cal which was better
