So This is how my engine bay looked at the start of today.
Few pictures of stripping the plenum etc. and dirt on the rocker cover
Cleaned the rocker cover with degreaser and scuffed it up with scotch pads
Masked up the engine bay and painted with VHT silver rattle can...
Ha cliosport not feeling it then.
There not taking themselves to seriously. Its just a piss take they've done in their spare time.
Christmas number 1's not on the cards then;)
My Girlfriend's mates wrote this song whilst at college years ago, she plays the leading lady/chav;)
They've just got round to making the video!
It's a bit of a tongue in cheek piss take. And my Clio makes a small cameo roll:approve:
Hope this is in the right section!
Enjoy.
Definately worth it mate its great fun. Strip as much out as you can aswell. Definately helps and easy enough to put back.
Would be good to get a few more going down next year from the North East.
Cheers for the comments boys, yeah well pleased with the times:)
Managed to beat a Civic Type R and a stripped williams amongst others. (but I dont like to boast ;))
I attended York Raceway on Sunday with Pete (Lindleyp). It was the last meet of the year and a really good turnout. There was a nice selection of cars and the weather was spot on.
Easily the best car there:cool:
I managed to get 7 runs in total over the day. My best was 14.1 which I managed...
No pictures taken when there were done I'm afraid. This one was taken last month. They were refurbed about 18 months ago. There not the cleanest in the picture but come up like new when cleaned properly.
Just a little update for anyone concerned about the weather. Checked a few forecast sites and its looking good for Sunday.
Sunny and dry all day, maximum of 17degrees with a little wind.
If the forecasts right I'll definately be there.:)
I ran V-maxx on mine for a bit Rob. I thought they were pretty good, non adjustable dampening isn't a bad thing for road use.
If you can get a cheap second hand set you'll always get your money back if you don't like them.
