Whats with the random pictures at the bottom, I thought it was some spot the difference competition.
Not to keen on the black mirror covers, seems to be a huge compramise over the std 197/F1.
My Other half has the white version its the nuts, really easy to use, excellant screen, only downside is no flash on camera, but music wise, its as good if not better than some of the MP3 only players out there.
Oh and it is so small and light I have been looking at the Graphit one but may...
With regards to the discs, when fitted in the way that Ben has, they will give a much greater bite but will eat pads.
It makes a huge differnce fitting them this way especially for track days. certainly not advised for normal road use.
Ben I must say this is one of the best threads I have...
Cool cool. I have a couple of filters still in there cases, just havent got round to using them yet.
What filters have you bought, I ended up spending waaaaay to much money on the HOYA filters, after the guy in the shop showed me some examples of the images he had taken with his 400d and kit...
Oh on another note Mcbunny how you getting on with the new lenses, I have been pricing up a Tamron 18-200 Lense recently and as of yet havent been able to get any real unbias opinons on the quality. What lense did you get in the end?
I find that debadged Clios look a little wierd as there is just loads of boot and nothing really to brake the colour down.
At the end of the day it is your choice, I quite like what some of the guys have done and put the new RS logo on the car.
If you do debadge it you will be left with a...
I have heard that as well, never really needed to use one like that, but I do find that when taking images when it is sunny I struggle to focus correctly when I take my sun glasses off due to the brightness.
At the end of the day its not a huge amount to spend and if it makes your life a...
AHHHHH Right I get you. I think that there is an extension version that sits around 15mm further away from the camera,

not a bad price eaither...
I dont think that there is anything other than the standard size, the only thing I have seen is a digital screen that is put over the eye piece to give it that point and shoot effect, but they are quite expensive.
Why you looking for one?
Your best option is to run a new cold air feed from the filter, remove the Acoustic valve and sit it down by the fog lamp like the O/E set up.
Alternativly save your pennies and get the Maxogen kit, its the only kit that you will see a noticable increase in performance.
If you use the search...
Word of advice then Scutch, dont ever get in one and be taken for a spin in it, all your dreams will fall apart, just like they did for me, its hot, cramped, smells of fish, and when the Turbos finally kick in you have to stop as you have run out of road.
It was lovely to be able to live a...
Wonder what the guys insurance company had to say. Especially if it was the Escort's owner to fault, LOL.
Bad luck though, not to bad as the car is mainly fibreglass and carbon fibre, so could be rebuilt.
I have only ever heard great reviews on the AST gear, One of our customers has a AST Set up on his 996 Porsche road/race car, the amount of adjustments on it is just amazing, as Fred has said Powerstation have had some amazing results in recent years running the AST Gear.
^^^^ HA HA HA HA HA I had to read that 3 times before I understood what the hell you were on about.
But yeah thats right if they are Speedline Turinis, they will have the speedline logo on the rim with Turini on there as well, If there from Renault and they are Anthricte they will just have...
I have been looking at a couple of DC5 Tegs recently. I keep telling myself that if I were to get it, could a keep it standard, and deep down I know that I would end up spending the same on the mods as the cars worth.
So maybe in a few years once the wedding has been and gone.
Totally agree with b3nje
I got myself a cheap remote for my Cannon and it makes low light images so much easier to take without the risk of blurring.
Also another tip if you have a relativly cheap Tripod is to take a couple of weights with you to hold the Tripod firm when taking these types...
Well I have a 350d, and TBH when I compared the Nikon and the Cannon I felt more comfortable using the Cannon Layout. Alot of people say the Nikon is easier to handle, but that just shows its down to personal taste
Biggest downside of Nikons I found is the limited number of aftermarket...
I think that would look quite cool, wont be any more dificult to clean than red or yellow calipers.
Best stuff to use would be the Hammerite, I believe they even do a white smooth finish for using on radiators and such like. So that should work well, just check the heat resistance, should say...
LOL that post on the GT forum is classic, I would of felt a right kn0b if that was me, i would of just tried to hide.
Matt is an ace bloke I have PM him many a time and he has always got back to me straight away.
I belive I have bought a few things off him since owning my Clios.
TBH though on a car which such low milage it should be fine, 1out of 200+ cars shows the build quality of the shocks, compared to Renault OE ones.
Oh and if you do buy it, you will want to save yourself about £30 to get the wiper mod, other wise you will be going to the closet loony bin once...
LOL I wonder maybe because Renault wont do any warranty work without kicking up a huge fuss. Oh plus £1500 to replace.:S
One of the guys for CT has had an issue like this.
Looking at those images it shows the rear seats been leather, I would be asking where the OE ones are.
I cant give...
You want to check all of the shocks, especially the rears, if there is any sign of corrosion or leaking walk away, unless the dealer is will to sort it.
Check that both seats tilt and slide foward. if not it not a huge problem it is just a case that the cable has fallen out of the channel...
A few weeks back I was driving a stretch of road I know like the back of my hand, there are a group of corners which when dry are fine, coming round the first one I could see a car just going round the second bend, so started to slow, came up to the second corner and relised that the car was...
If your doing the pads as well best bet is to undo the bolts holding the caliper in place, lift the whole lot up and out of the way, then get a mallet and whack the fcuk out of the disc, it took me a good 6 hits to get the disc off the hub.
Off the top of my head I cant remeber the size of the...
Sat in the car at the dealer and handed over the money, what the hell was I thinking buying another Clio.:S
I have promised that the next car I get wont be anything French.
The only thing that really sticks out for me is leaving a McDonalds Coke on the roof of my old clio, getting in the...
Not from the IOW, but go there once a year as the other half has relatives that live in Sandown.
Where in the IOW are you. There is a large number of guys/gals over the water in Portsmouth and Southampton, so may be worth while keeping an eye on these meets.
