I have a 350d and it is so simple to use once you get the basics in place.
I am still using the kit lense but that is fine for what I use it for at the moment. I am sure I will purchase a better lense in the coming months.
I have been there with Insurance companies trying to get out of there agreement.
I know exactly how to overcome the problems. I ended up taking one insurance comp through the small claims court 4 years ago, as they wouldn't pay out on a accident that happend, it was decided by the police that...
I used it on my old car and found it worked ok, its not going to get rid of light scratchs but brings the colour up a treat.
Once you have done that, give the car a polish and seal the whole lot.
I am with Flux £714 fully comp on the Trophy, I have heard good and bad things about them but at the end of the day I have a legally binding document that states I am fully insured.
TBH if you want something different thats not bad, Not sure about the dodgy paint work and the dent in the sill but, each to there own.
Its a hell of a lot better than some of the cr@p you see on there.
It great to actually find out what you are getting. from the sounds of the kit and the options I think this could be a excellant seller.
I myself will be more than happy to put a set on the 172 track car which I am looking to get in the near future.
In terms of the clever bit of technology...
We have found out that the units are of LEDA Origin, so we know what sort of quality that we are looking at. There are possibilities of 2 and 3 way adjustability. The only real problem is we have no firm prices.
Its not really down to Dan R to have to tell us how much he has paid for them, he...
You said it before me, for all we know they could be gold plated with a life time warranty on them, for £2300 that would be fine.
The sooner all the details become available the better. If I had a brand new product that was meant the be the best ever I would want people to know about it.
If...
LOL
I understand that, but maybe if these company's paid for the advertising options they could have there own sub forum for there products.
It would just be nice to get the technical details of what you are paying for, not just the "oh they are great and they make my car handle like its on...
It would be really nice if Andy actually posted a press relase on the forum making us aware of what the kit is and what it actually offers,
I am sure that if he did this the possible sales that could be made would increase.
I know that whe Leda went bust alot of the production line was bought up by a few of the employees,
I have been to the LEDA Factory and there work is spot on, there were some very expensive race preped machines in there (Porsche, 360 etc) It makes sense why there is a lot of hype behind the...
Yeah exactly you know about them, but wont tell others about them. Its all sounding like sales talk,
Give us the details and we can then make our own minds up.
See I disagree that the H&R's not being good for the Track, I have driven a 172 running H&Rs on track and it was excellant, they had changed the spring rate on the front to allow more turn in and a little more roll, and also had the car laser allingend and set up for a more agrressive feel on...
Surely a coil over is a coil over, the only real thing that would make a difference is the way that the car is set up once they are fitted.
Different springs and damper adjustments can be bought/adjusted on any mid range set up, so I cant figure out what is so good about the GDI ones.
Send it back, you have bought a brand new item, which has been receieved with a imperfection, if you just leave it it will bug you.
Make them aware that you have had it all set up, and tell them that you want a new one delivered and installed.
All it is a a 197 Cup Racer that has been modified for rally events.
Most photos of Flames from exhausts look fake, it mainly down to the difference in Contrast from the bright flame and the rest of the car.
Still looks fun, would mind having a go in one of those.
05 55plate Trophy 047/500, 23k Needs a little bit of attention, slight dink on the bonnet, door has a slight dent where someone tried to get in.
Fog light is missing and a small parking dent on the rear drivers side.
Re: My new R27 F1 Team
Nik it looks amazing, dont pity you having to keep it clean, the back end of those cars is a magnet for dirt just like the Meg 225.
It looks lovely, I have always had a soft spot for the Williams, lovely car to drive they are so punchy, loads of low down grunt compared the the 182 that needs a lot of work to keep the speed up.
For normall road driving it really isn't worth worrying about, Track driving you should always leave the car in gear and the handbrake off, its just to stop the pads and disc from welding themselves to each other.
Most noticable on much higher powered cars, not so much on the Clios because of...
