Same here, I was never convinced the car would go round the first corner at the end of the back straight without lifting

I was thinking that, I was touching about 100/110 at the end of the straight and really wouldnt have fancied going through there flat out!! What were you driving mate?

Tell me about it, lifted off mid corner once, never again! Car got all wobbly and the gravel got a whole lot closer!! Cant say I was doing 100 though...

It was a girl called Kelly. Thought it was useful, just to try and get into good habits and get quicker as the day goes on. Really enjoyed Brands, nice and short so you dont have too much to learn in one day!! :oops: The corner after the start finish straight it great

The day cost £99, the track was open pit lane for 4 hours and I had about 1hour 45 mins out on the track which was enough. Also paid the £25 for half an hour with an instructor in the car which was really useful.

It was my own car, you can do days where you get to drive different cars, but I really wanted to see what mine could do on the track. Loved it, really want to go again, hopefully going to book Donnington in October if I can afford it.

I nearly always use Tesco Value petrol, cant see any point when most of it is burnt sitting in traffic on the M4. Doesnt damage the car in anyway, so Im not going to spend the extra money. If I know Im off on a nice drive or to a track, Ill run it very low, and then stick in a tank of Optimax...

Spotted you heading into town on the A4 just by Gillette corner, Silver 172. Didnt flash my lights or anything as I had my boss with me!! Big sticker on the back window under the 3rd brake light.

I actually just went back and checked what I used, and it was called Bumper Care (came a pack) and it said it could be used on tyre walls. I sense a trip back to Halfords...

I think it looks too much like other cars on the road. As well as looking like a KA it also reminds me of a 206 and Micra. Plus it doesnt look sporty at all, just looks too bland for my liking, might be better in the flesh though.

Top Gear is a much better programme, but I really like watching Tiff slide all over the place in whatever car he drives!

No idea why, I even sat mine right in the centre of the parcel shelf by the window and got a signal which would sometimes just drop out for no reason. It might have been a dodgy aerial though. Doesnt bother me too much, as the way I have it now works perfectly
