Never thought Id post a Ive just cleaned my car thread but here I am doing it... Took just over 3 hours and with it being black, itll stay clean that long as well I think.

Does anybody have any advice on how to get the tyres a better shade of black?

spray the tyres with loads of back to black, theres more expensive stuff you can buy though thatll last longer. looks smart:D

i find that turtle wax extreame tyre getl works a treat on lasts long time too without it spraying all over your car when you drive off.

Autoglym instant tyre dressing is another one.

Car looks good. Not sure what problem you had with the Autoglym tyre dressing? How did you apply it?

I use a paint brush and apply it then allow to dry.
I actually just went back and checked what I used, and it was called Bumper Care (came a pack) and it said it could be used on tyre walls. I sense a trip back to Halfords...

Personally Ive stopped using any kind of tyre blackener on mine, found it really shagged the handling when cornering hard!!! Especially when damp

Just poor some into an old jam jar, and brush on.
