Well it would be great if it did work. I'm suprised some little chinese company hasnt made a replica cable and made $$$$ off it. Its a very common problem. Mine plays up sometimes but tbh it doesnt happen often enough for me to replace it

Google it, theres hundreads of posts on various forums about this issue. Last time I checked....The Kenwood KCA-iP100 cable is a suitable replacement that will work. Cheaper too and the lead is massive. I'd avoid another alpine one as it seems to be a common problem them f**king up

I've done it now :) Only comes on with the dashboard illumination now. Awsome :) I am 95% happy with its function now. Just testing it out later tonight in the dark again

Guys - need your help/advise with one thing on this. ATM my curcuit runs off a 12v from the cigarette lighter, is there anyway of getting it to only turn on with the sidelights? So it only turns on with the main dashboard lights? I'm pretty sure some people here have got neons etc to turn on...
