that will give you a far btter idea of engine condition
you can move a lot of pistons in cylinder blocks and its not always a "sign" that the rings are "worn" :D
if there is a vosa bulletin over this issue and i think there is then the testing station should take note and pass the car - if its the only thing they have failed it on - appeal the test this is on the paperwork of how to do it :D
you can use a centre punch to knock the screws round - hammer on the edge of the screw so the punch does not slip then hammer it round with the centre punch :D

just make sure you try and find out some history of the replacement engine etc - you dont want the belt going on that one :o
fog light warning flashing with the indicators is a bad earth on the indicators probably on the rear mutiplug on the lamp cluster
as for the engine ecu - need to have it plugged in to have the fault codes checked to show the fault
yep very good do mine every couple of month :D
if you dont want to use the detailer spray you can use water in a spray bottle as long as a lubricant is used it works fine :D
i have one - very good - code reader for engine / abs / airbags / auto gearbox - clear fault codes - live data gathering does french cars and all obd2 compliant vehicles :D
thing is if anything goes wrong you can check it yourself and if you know what your doing fix it - clear the code and...
