I will weigh mine when i take them out, also weigh my new seats and subframes when they come (hopefully the first week in April ready for Doncaster)
Just got to design some circuits to stop the SERV light coming on.
The only problem i have with my Cup is when you take a pic of it the colour never comes out as it looks in the flesh.
See what i mean (wheels look ace though)

My Cup did the same in First and Second.
Took it to the garage and it has not done it since plus the clutch seams better than when i had it.
Maybe a common problem.
They are 45s. No flat spot on mine as i have a SBDevelopments MBE engine management which is fully programable.
Timed at 4.2 to 60 last year but its soon going up for sale soon got to get myself a Supabusa (westfield megabusa with a turbo:devilish:)
Shame to get rid of it as its 10 years old...
I lowered my Cup purely for looks as it the gap in the front wheel arch just looked to big.
It has made the car slightly harded but not realy noticable. Body roll has reduced and the rear end seams more planted when cornering fast.

Pic with standard...
In the end i went for Cobra Monacos as the blue fabric colour suits the Cup so well and they are a good fit (to my big arse) plus they do subframes specialy for the Clio so should not need and mods to get them in (hopefully)
Managed to get both of the seats and subframes for £360
I am going the same way with the interior.
Seats and subframes are ordered and should be here in 3 weeks or so. Then Ktec stainless front and rear strut braces and Ktec stainless rollcage to top it off. May even get throttle bodies:devilish:
A wheel width is measured where the tyre bead sits so you need the tyre off to measure it.
If you measure the outside of a wheel rim it is around half an inch bigger so a 7" would measure 7.5"
I was speaking to my local dealer and he said that you have to order them with the car and when they come out the dealers will fit them but he said they did not have any prices for them. Typical Renault
NO NO NO
The 172 driver would be the sweaty one as to keep up he would have to have the air con turned off;) and you would make a mess of those nice seats:oops:
Cups OK. I was driving the works transit.
If people indicate and wait for you to flash them b4 they make a move i will let then in, but if they dont well take it up with my transits front bumper:devilish::devilish:
Hey Gareth i had the same with my Coupe as well.
When i part exed my Laguna in a couple of years ago the dealer called me up and said could i come downto the dealers to sort a problem with my old car. Got to the dealers and a family had taken the car for a test drive and the anti hi jacking...
I had exactly the same thing. Old woman in a Micra doing 50 on tha dual car, rage way. I was overtaking her doing 75 with a car in front when a boy racer in a Calibra came up the inside of me and tried to get in and failed. So he pulled in behind me flashing his lights etc. Car in front of me...
The new Golf V look better in the flesh but handles even worse that the present Golf. The only half decent VW at the moment for performance and handling is the the Lupo GTi
My source for this info is my brother who is a test driver for Bentley Motors and has been to Germany to test all the new...
Had my Cup for just over 3 months and its now got 5200 miles on the clock.
Looks sweet now i have got my 17s on and had it lowered.
Good fun car. Makes me smile every time i go out in it.
I have Apex springs on my Cup. The ride is not much harder than standard.
They have improved the ride and my 17s dont catch.
Got my springs for £70 and cost me £40 to get them fitted.
My Cup is a regular at the dealers and they did not even notice the bigger wheels and lowered suspension until it was parked next to there demo car.
One mechanic said he was glad i had the filter on as it saved him taking the air box out to look as something.
I think i will go for some...
My Clio Cup has been recalled for some bigger seatbelt bolts according to my local dealer.
Has anybody else had theres recalled.
Got to go in next week.
Yes they are very quick but look w**k inside.
Alex got his just over a week ago and has been recalled for a over boost problem in cold weather, causing it to misfire under hard acceleration.
He has not had the problem due to still running the car in, it is quick but dont like the way diff...
My 17s are 35mm offset all round and dont stick out any further than the 16s on 38.5mm offset.
If the wheels had a different offset you would have thought when i put the new wheels on if the rear is now 10mm wider it would of caught big time as it is lowered.
