I've just got some new little brushes in, Two way detailing brush basically a fat double ended paintbrush. It works well for just removing the polish residue from cracks etc. I still use the triple duty for round headlights etc though.
For polishing pads, the SFX applicators are very good also...
Meguiars Hot Rims, is also very strong another of those that takes your breath away and burns your fingers. I prefer it to Wonder Wheels though as the foam clings to the wheel.
I'd like to think my prices are pretty competitive, with plenty of choice and a good service. I've certainly put plenty of effort into it anywya.

Take your point on that Brazo, I agrre with what you are saying. I was meaning more the cut. Like the Honda above I was able to remove defects with the PO106FF which Po85RD wouldn't do. I'm sure there is somthing in the PO85RD thats slightly different though.
Hi Brazo, although I can't doubt your wisdom on PC'ing, I have to disagree. :rasp:
Just going from the Menzerna range, there are 3 different finishing polishes, all designed as Final Finishes.
PO106FF (cut:2.5 gloss: 5.0)
PO85RD (cut:1.5 gloss: 5.0)
PO85U (cut:3.0 gloss:4.0)
The top two...
For a bit of shine, but not over the top, the Silk Shine is superb.
It cleans and protects vinyl very well. On the harder plastics it does add more shine than the textured stuff where it looks very natural.
For an absolute natural look I've always usde the Sonus Cockpit detailer, which...
Aye very wet, the PO85RD is a pure finishing polish though, and thats what it's designed to do. It won't do much in the way of dealing with swirls but really does leave a very moist oven ready surface.
I even found supposedly tough to apply sealants like Klasse Sealant Glaze really easy to...
Good choice going with the Menzerna PO85RD.
I've not found a polish quite like it for finishing. Really it is a different league to the Poorboys stuff in every respect.
It's a completely different polish to the traditional Final Polish II (PO85U) in that it finishes with lots more gloss and...
yes there is www.cleanyourcar.co.uk :D
Rich your car looks stunning. The flake under the clear coat is one of the best I think i've ever seen. Absolutely jaw droping.
Love next doors car... that is probably the worst polished car i've seen what did he use a brillo pad!
Hi Nez,
I've just put together some starter kits, which offer a discount over buying items individually:

I don't know if thats the sort of thing you'd be interested in. The only thing I would consider adding to the full...
As mentioned Klasse AIO probably the best 'foundation' product on the market. Cleans away any contamination and lays down a nice protective acrylic coating. Everything sems to go over it really nicely. Another product for flake popping that works well in conjunction with it is the Four Star UPP...
I find them the opposite, used them on loads of cars now and the Factory seal is definately the easier of the two for application and removal, there is absolutely no question. Both look very similar though on application and it's hard to split them on pure looks. We've aplied them to two cars...
The Factory sealant is fantastic, I've been selling this for a while now. Not a clio, but here is one application after a quick wash on my mums Hyundai Coupe. The Der Wunder Applicators are fabtastic for applying it.
Then you can layer the XXX over the top for that little extra depth. Both...
Id go with Klasse All In One, Clearkote Vanilla Moose wax or Sonus paintwork Cleanser, all great products and really remove some of that crap by chemically cleaning the surface that you thought you would never shift.
Cheers Tim
5% 'cliosport' discount
Gold Class is nice although I think I'm swinging towards both the Chemical guys Shampoos, both the Maxi suds and Body Wash N Wax are selling really well at the moment. The Sonus Gloss shamppo is also well worth a look though. It's even gentler than the Chmical Guys so doesn't strip wax...
Thats a good bit of advice Alan
I'm also a UK supplier/distributor for Chemical Guys and quite a few other brands. Theres also a 5% 'cliosport' discount for memebers, and postage is pretty reasonable.
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk just type cliosport in the discount box.
If you need any...
I can vouch for Steve. He is 'the detailer', really nice guy knows exactly what he is doing and produces stunning results time after time.
Al, you Clio looks fooking amazing, now you are just going to be paranoid about even washing her. :D
Nothing will happen. It's just a average paint sealant and is no diffeent to you applying somthing like Autoglym. As it says pop the bag, rub in over and buff off. It's really not that impressive though IMHO.
My suggestion would be somthing like:
Sheepskin Wasmitt or microfibre mitt/sponge
CG's Body Wash/Maxi Suds II
Dry with a waffle weave
Clay Sonus Grey or Clearkote Clay Bar kit if its not been done before
Scratch X for localised areas that need some physical abrasion
Very Shiny:
Klasse...
The Spider Web is pretty good by hand as long as you are prepared to work it. It's best applied with the hard foam side of a german applicator and lots of effort. It's marginlly more aggressive than somthing like Poorboys SRR 2.5. I sell quite a few Sonus Hand Polish Bundles and haven't heard...
Well technically they are both :D as the made from microfibre and have a waffle weave pattern that make them better for drying.
I can only do 5% as my p&p is cheaper!
Something like Meguiars Carpet Cleaner or Chemical Guys Stain Extractor might do it, although as yet I haven't actually tried them on engine oil. If its any consolation though I spilt some brake fluid on one of my leather seats today and thats really made a nice stain :D
I know a place that sells the complete kits including transformer etc :quiet:
They are very easy to use and won't screw up your paintwork a sthey are random orbital. the biggest gripe often is they arn't aggressive enough. Much of it depends on the polish you are using and I know for a fact...
