Hi Ben, I believe they do yes.
The foam is much firmer and also a better size for gripping and applying both greater and more even pressure. I don't use anything else for hand polishing now.
Any of the acylic sealants are easily able to withstand the heat on wheels and form a very good undercoat for further layers of wax. As Rich says if the aim is to build up layers of protection I'd go Poorboys or Swissvax. The Rim Wax and CG's Wheel Guard do clean also so durability isn't as...
Even if you can't polish it with a abrasive compound, you could definately PC it with Klasse All In One/Carlack Systematic Care. That should clean shine and polish it safely.
As an ex 20vt owner and as I bought your old Stainless Steel exhaust ;) can I reccomend myself.
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk there is also a 'clisosport' discount
Use the foam applicators for paste waxes, microfibre ones for pre wax cleansers and sealants.
I'd seriously consider the Sonus...
Yeah I saw your post on DW. :dapprove:
Let me know how you get on with that autobahn wheel wax when you get it. It's a tiny pot, but it's so far been fantastic for me.
Menzerna PO106FF is in my book the easiest polish i've ever used, ever. It's very forgiving with no dust even by rotary.
The P085RD 3.01 does need a bit more care but is still pretty easy and i'd still reccomed them to a beginner. They arn't SSR 2.5 easy but as Rich points out ultimately it...
Jeffs is based on the Klasse Sealant Glaze and Carlack Long Life Sealant. Really to get full protection you should leave it to cure, but then you have the protection over ease of use dilema.
I do now to apply Klasse/Carlack in the same way i.e wipe on a panel, as it starts to haze buff off...
I'm your man for Menzerna. Just back from taking some samples to a lamborghini dealer
I now have many pro and amature detailers that use these polishes with fantastic results.
Certain polishes do have as Rich suggest a steeper learning curve, but some are so very very easy to use...
I've been selling the Sonus ones now since I opened and they are one of the best selling items in my shop which is testiment to their quality.
Sonus Der Wunder (Softer Plusher) Pkg /2
Sonus Ultimate (thinner/better absorbancy)
For a sealant I would choose the Klasse All In One and the...
Hi Seb,
I would reccomend:
Wash
Clay
Polish - Klasse All In One
Wax - Collinite #476s
Then use the Sonus Carnauba Detailer for just giving that extra sprakle between washes.
Cheers Tim
Sonus Polishes are flipping fantastic, just pricey unfortunately.
I did this black Nissan 200sx using them in preference to the Poorboys and Optimum, even SSR3 wasn't cutting the msutard. I didn't stock Menzerna at the time, so would have liked to have tried that
Most of the details in my...
Hi John,
I have about 150 pots in the UK if you are interested.
Good winter waxes are Collinite #845 and #476 or Meguiars #16. All very durable and look great.
Cheers Tim
The bonnet looks spot on. PC's are fantastic and esy to get to grips with, which is why they are so popular.
If you are intrested I have Menzerna Sampler Kits in so you can basically try the whole line in 250ml (8oz) bottles, so enough for two cars easy.
Cheers Tim
Probably too late for everyone, but if you are in the Leeds/Bradford vacinity there is a bit of a get togethjer being held:
full details here: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/showthread.php?t=14972
I'll be there with a few products but it's more about giving the products a go.
Cheers Tim
Re: Where’s all the detailing postings gone -_-
Gary, I've said it before and i'll say it again, but it's so good to see you doing well and it's fully deserved and to build up that kind of a reputation so quickly just shows how well you are doing the job.
Re: Where’s all the detailing postings gone -_-
It was actually sunny in Huddersfield today! Makes a change
It's slightly different to the Rim Wax in that it cleans and polishes as well as protecting. Durability so far seems good.
The car looks stunning. The AIO is very underated and not the 'fashionable' product at the moment, but still just about the best on the market.
Sealant Glaze would be a great choice for topping the AIO. The Sealant Glaze is identical to Jeffs Acrylic Jett. The trigger is a sprayable format...
