If I come up, how do I get to the pits? Do I just turn up and sign on as a passenger without a car or do I need to find someone to get me to the pits? Seem to recall briefly joining the track last year to get to the pits. How much is passenger/spectator and do I need to be there for briefing?

I've done the same job on my 172, I ended up doing the top mounts and bearings on the front but just the shocks and springs on the rear.

That was satisfying, wish I hasn't wasted so much time now with the fan spanner. Job done and I've still got my fingers!

So, I'm in the middle of changing the inner Tie/Track Rods as the TREs are seized. I thought I'd easily remove the rod, but can't get the drivers one out. So I've bought a track rod removal tool, however, to get it on I have to get off the seized TRE! So I've bought an angle grinder. This...

After it being sat in the garage feeling sorry for itself since October with a cross threaded track rod end, I finally managed to find 5 minutes to get the nut crackers out and release the nut. Hopefully this weekend, I'll find the time to change the rods and put the car back on 4 wheels again.
