I worked on a couple of these in the pass, a real flat nose will have steel wings but the fake ones had fibreglass wing's, also it shouldn't have cup mirrors, these where fitted to the later 964.

Re battery, if it was me then I'd look at fitting an Anderson plug set up mate, much safer.

The difference is though mate that your bits are alloy and needed to be a nice finish.
If you blast steel hubs and paint them straight after then they will be fine. But if the are left then the damp will get to them and start them rusting again.

I know mate, its the main stream "impreza" dicks that think every impreza should burble and have a great big boot spoiler. My car is one of 325 in the world and it will never be having a spoiler fitted. :cool::up::hearteyes:

Makes perfect sense to sort everything at once while it's off the road and before the nice weather comes.
