Pretty sure the ph2 172 and 182 are pretty much on par every race ive seen on youtube 182 is a car length ahead and just stays there. Ph1 172 are suppose to be pretty quick because there lighter than the newer ph2's. Thats where i would of thought people get this impression of them being faster..

As long as you don't give clio's the reputation of the Saxo's as its terrible. So many dick heads drove Saxos not as many anymore all moved onto VW transporters down here. I had a Saxo though and was an awesome little car but never really drove it like a t**t unless someone wants to be shown up...

Mines blatently gone into the back of a car. Brand new headlight, radiator, bumper, grill, aircon pipes. Fully checked it over when I bought it seemed all good. Repairer did a good job on it :D

Ah ok should be no issues there then. Just double check voltage of battery when you install ECU again. Thats all that I can think of that i would try :/ unless youve got another laptop handy?

I'd try removing ecu from the car. Which OS you running on your laptop?

Cisco linksys is pretty decent stuff, what you'd expect from cisco really lol. Draytek's aren't bad few customers that I deal with have them seem alright cope ok with a lot of traffic most of time occationally they f**k up but thats more a DSL fault. DSL is shite.

mine was 3k belts not done 54k miles, pretty much mint. Get what you pay for I've seen ones like mine with belts done for 3500+

I bought my 182 on Sunday with 54k no belt change :/ Not driving it till Tuesday and that's to the Renault garage to get both belts and a service done. Its killing me, just want to drive it instead of my paxo :( not worth it though.

Was gonna go to Pure Motorsport but its a good hours drive away from me. Rang the local dealership and quoted me £582! So not too bad! All booked in for Tuesday :) and a service to go with it.

Thanks guys :) Yeah was in such good condition! Was really lucky to get one this good. Rang him up expecting him to say its sold and it hadn't only downside was belts, service and MOT haven't been done so checked so put people off I guess. Got so much history with it aswell!
