Cheers JamieG seems like going through Renault will be my best bet.

The taper was 60 degrees but the length of it was about 5mm shorter than the standard bolt and it wasn't sitting properly in my wheel, I asked the mechanic when I went to get a spare bolt and he said he wouldn't trust them, just going from his advice really.

I thought about painting mine, but they're in pretty bad condition, they need replacing, one of them actually snapped when I took it out, luckily not in the hub. Got a spare from the garage to tide me over.

This might be a daft question, but has anyone replaced the wheel bolts for their 172 Cup? I ordered some bolts online but the taper is too small for the Speedline Turinis. Mine are all rusted and I want to replace them. I know I need M12 x 1.5 thread size but can someone tell me the correct...

I will be as well as long as it stops raining! I got some silicone sealant today, apparently that's strong enough to hold it in place, I'm not so sure though, don't want to make a mess of it :| Have you got a Viper as well Andy?

Cheers for the replys guys. It says on the website they must be bonded in place. I'll have a look at tiger seal, read that epoxy resin works quite well, may try that.

Looking at getting these for my 172 Cup, any one know the best stuff for bonding them into position? Never worked with carbon fiber before.

So some developments on this....Went out for a drive today and my gear box is now crunching slightly changing in and out of 4th, was doing it, 3rd-4th, and 4th-5th, doesnt seem to be doing it ith any other gears, it's not a massive crunch, just sounds like somethings catching. Any ideas, anyone?

going be an expensive then! The guys I spoke to about the box said its a 9 hour job to take the box out and put it back in again without even doing any work on it....awesome!

I've got the receipt....I've spoken to the people that did it, they said it isn't anything that they would have done, they only did the bearings, bush kit and boots and if its jumping out of gear then it's something else and they'd have to have a look. Worth mentioning that it's not doing it...
