I'm debating whether to get a rear cage or a harness bar for my 172 Cup. I have bucket seats with harnesses at the moment but they're currently bolted to the floor which isn't ideal really. I was going to just get a rear cage, but that meant extra weight and then my insurance company said they...
I changed the door cards in my 172 cup last night to the alcantara ones from 172/182, but the rear ones just wont sit right, not sure if there's something I'm missing or if there's a clip I cant see but there's a gap running along the window and around the B pillar, I've got the clip in place by...
Yeah for sure, ill be getting the PMS ones come pay day, just popped up when looking for pins, whats the issue with the inlets? Seen then about but never looked into it as they're daft money
another set I've just spotted here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clio-172-182-brembo-caliper-bracket-300mm-disc/352635513630?hash=item521ab6eb1e:g:hZYAAOSw0AFcp057

Just sourcing all the parts for the Brembo conversion on my 172 Cup, looking at braided lines, I'm assuming I'll have to buy 197 hoses for the front, but will the rears from that kit fit my car or will I have to buy fronts for a 197 and rear for a 172/182?
Cheers!
OH! That was in reference to the brackets, sorry I missed that.
Just looked at that post, yeah man that's not good! I'll just stick with the Pure Motorsport ones, unless you're still making them?
Just wondering has anyone tried these brackets? I'm in the process of buying all the parts for my Brembo conversion and just randomly stumbled across them the other day.

What are people using to attach the Nimbus heat shield to the bulkhead? From what I remember from removing the old factory sound deadening stuff, there wasn't any threaded holes, it was just plastic clips or rubber bungs or something holding it on.
Ah, that's HIDs out then, Maybe upgraded bulbs would be a better option, I'll have a look at the Osram Nightbreakers.
I had cleaned them up a while back as they were all cloudy, they looked better, cant say it did much for brightness though.
The Xenons do look way better then the standard...
The headlights on my 172 Cup are shockingly bad, might as well drive round with my eyes shut at night, would make zero difference. I need to sort something out, I was going to just get a set of Xenons from a 172/182 but I'm not sure about all the carry on with MOTs and washers and self levelers...
@STEVE.M I know ,I know, but tbh I didnt look at the seller.
Even the Powerflex website says "The prices shown on our website are per bush"
but cheers for clearing that up
Cool thanks, no I did think that but there's so many places say that the kit comes with '1 bush'
This is the reply I got:
"Just a quick follow-up.
We can confirm that this is only 1 bush.
If there's anything else I can do for you, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help"
Hence my...
Hi, bit of an odd question, but can someone that has bought Powerflex steering rack bushes confirm if you get 1 or 2 bushes in the pack?
I've spoke to multiple companies now, some say its 1 bush, some say its 1 kit so 2 bushes. I need them ASAP as I have my MOT on Monday and I'm not getting a...
Does anyone know what happened to Speedina that made the custom dials? Looks like he did some really nice work and I wanted some dials off him, but he just seems to have disappeared. Facebook and website are both gone.
Cool, fork it is, yeah I have new wishbones to go on with the ball joints attached so I don't care if i damage the ball joints, they've already been on fire. They've already felt the full force of my hammer but they haven't budged.
Any specific size of fork or will any do the job?
I was changing my wishbones at the weekend but my ball joints are stuck, I got the pinch bolts out which were an absolute nightmare, but cant budge the ball joints, I need a splitter but don't know which type to go for, does anyone know if I'm better off with a fork type or the threaded...
Just from having a quick look yesterday, they look like they would snap if i tried to take them out, the nuts look pretty bad as well, but I can give them a go.
Nah I've just bought new wishbones, and got polybushes for my ARB as my current ones are pretty shot
