anyone tried the superchip option instead of r sport ecu, the graph looks impressive, plus 8 bhp peakpower increase and its a local upgrade instead of a long drive to hill power. not slating hill power just interested in the chip
i know that motorpoints imports have no alarm and 1 year less warranty but not all importers will be the same, at the end of the day thats one of the reasons you get them so cheap
no the brochure for renault says it is an optimum gear change indicator and that is why it comes on around 6500 rpm, ie peak power but at the end of the day you shouldnt need a sh*tty little green light if you know how to drive.
Anyone purchased my old Williams3
Went to Renault Liverpool.
Fairly mint with some rusting starting in usual places. Full scorpion exhaust. 65,000 Miles.
N9** USS
Just interested how the old willy is if any one has it. I traded it in in July 03
no renault only intended that metal edge on williams 3 like the one i had but it wasnt as prominent as those refurbished ones on Louises 2. However nice job, they look mint.
was speaking to afroggy on friday night and we got onto cars, told him i drive a clio cup which i believe is called a ragnotti in france, he was so excited and started on about the great ragnotti and how good these cars are, scary how passionate he was. Anyway just thopught it was well funny and...
mmmm interesting, who knows, will do an oil and filter change soon but i know the slick 50 will stay there. It cant be bad for your car or it wouldnt be on the market.
Other than that ill just have to thrash the f**k out of it from now on :devilish:, hee hee only joking
when is the best time to do a first oil and filter change on the new motor. I am on 2200 miles now and renault recommend a service at 12000 but i see a lot of posts recommending doing a change after 1000 or so. Why is this as renault say nowt about it.
my mate has a vts and its ok but tinny, my 16v i had years ago was much better, i had no problems with the valver apart from general servicing but that was a while back now, at least 6 years. Good motors but look carefully, too many been thrashed to f**k.
leave the wheels and 1000 miles is bullsh*t, book says dont take it above 4000 rpm or 80mph for first 625 miles, its worth the wait, some folk say its bullsh*t, cane it from the start but id rather paly safe, then enjoy kicking arse on country roads.
Dont look for any faults, if they turn up...
