WHY WOULD ANYONE SKIMP ON TYRES??????!!!!!!!!!! Spend money on upgrades, power, handling etc etc etc and then f**k it all up by putting poverty spec tyres on it! Hankook's / Rainsport's are the furthest toward the budget end that I would go....

I've got Hankook's on now, they're excellent for road use, but they're shredded after one hard day at Bedford. I had Rainsports on before, but only over the winter, but the grip levels were superb. Both are very good tyres, but I cant compare them directly as they've been used in different weather.

I'd always viewed the KW's as a 'comprimise' setup between comfort and fast road and Track.... that's more or less how they are marketed, is it not? I wouldn't buy them a track car.

Motul RBF600 or ATE super blue (although it's dot4, it has a very high boiling point) I used just under a litre to change mine.

I've put a pair on mine and I was quite suprised at how much difference they made, the front one more so. A good mod for the money IMO.... they're only cheap. Plus, as previously said, they look good :)

Sportlines will still be fine.... No different to having two big lads in the back. If I was buying springs again, I'd go for sportlines again, no question.

New pads and some brake ducting would be the only things that I would worry about immediately. Also, buy the lightest wheels you can, some of the cheap s**t weighs a tonne. Team dynamics PR 1.2's are pretty light and can be had for good money.

Spee, do your indicators self cancel still? I cannot for the life of me work out how to get them to self cancel.... there doesn't seem to be any locating tabs or anything.

that figure of 76mpg will never be an average, unless all of their miles are motorway and sitting at 60. getting good fuel economy is 90% down to how you drive.
