1.2 dynamique - BN02 UPX - worst car in the world.
Was a Cat D, airbags all deployed, Stevie Wonder stitched up the seats, returned 25mpg when driving it nicely, had 4 PAGES of faults when plugged into Renaults Diagnostics, misfired, clutch slipped so bad it wouldn't ever wheel spin and the on...
Well its cheap in relation to a 2.0 engine...
Ok, fair play, I would still say lowering springs though.
Just remember buy everything second hand - you won't lose much, if any, money this way.
Welcome mate :)
You might find alot of people advise against bodykits etc. Most favour bolt on mods, this was you want lose so much money and in many peoples eyes, will look better.

As stated above.
Why would hit peak power and then hit another gear, getting further out the power band?
The aim: To get the highest average power from the gear. You need to look at a RR graph OP, work out the length of the gear and then work out where you should be changing into and out of...
Deffo easier to swap wheels. And cheaper.
Yeah, the rationale behind it is - more grip at the back, so more chance of the front staying in front of the back.

With regards to your speedo: It is all about the rolling radius of the tyre, not the alloy. Providing you drop the size of the tyre wall (profile percentage x width) as you increase the alloy size you will have no problems with the speedo or the gearing being...
As above, why do you think it is Cat C? If it is Cat C then it will need a VIC check and another MOT.
From how you have described, I'd have thought it is a Cat D. If this is the case keep it going as per usual, but do seek legal advice to ensure it is legally yours.
If it is CAT C or D...
I cannot see the advantages of 17s myself:
Make clios look like tractors, ruin the ride, ruin the handling, tyres cost a bomb, increase the likely hood of rubbing, slow acceleration (especially on something like a 1.2) and to top it all off are much easier to buckle/crack/bend.
Based on the...
