- Laguna splitter
- Carbon Fibre (vinyl ;) ) front badge
- Exhaust fitted PROPERLY!
- HAPPY HAPPY DAYS!
Really happy with the front splitter and the position of the exhaust! Not sure about the front diamond looks a bit bad up close but other than that it looks good :D...
After fitting an exhaust myself need somewhere to check it over and replace the rear mount and make a new hanger.
Any ideas?
All I can think of is topgear/rtec but I swore I'd never go to rtec because of there rip off prices and I have no idea about topgear
So guys, how to finish fitting it?
- Buy an exhaust hanger from motor spares/halfords etc and buy a new rear mount!
- loosen all the clamps?
- fit hanger and new mount
done?
Will i need to remove the backbox?
Thanks for the quick reply, today has been awful! :(
Its a cat-back system from PROSPEED!
Use to belong to mini-valver and he had it fitted no problems to the same car :S
Fitted my exhaust today, sounds amazing!
HOWEVER I had many problems (and still may!)
Go easy guys.. I have never fitted an exhaust before
First problem occured when fitting the exhaust... discovered the welds surrounding one of the rear hangers had cracked! Had to call out an emergency mobile...
I'm planning on fitting an exhaust tomorrow and I'm gnna just cut the old one off so don't need to drop the rear beam.
If I jack up the car From the sills what's the safest place to use axle stands on the rear or the car? I plan on putting a axle stand under each bit of the central box...
Not for me, for a friends car.
He had his wheels sprayed black with a rim which he would now like to remove... whats the best way to do this? Tried to get it off but cant for the life of me find the edge/end of the tape! And the stuffs stuck on its not budging at all!
Im thinking heat gun/petrol?
So that is the correct price for them? Isnt there any other cars with simular sized/shaped surrounds that could used? Since the 182 one isnt really anything special just a 3" diameter bordered piece of plastic ffs!
As above there around £30 for ONE new one :(
Although people all over the forums keep saying there £10.. maybe thats how much they were originally? or maybe theres an alternative, cheaper product number?!
