When I buy a car I always want to see all the old MOT and service invoices, in fact on most of my previous cars I have even kept ALL the petrol receipts to prove it was run on V Power all its life.
Maybe it is going a little far but it's a sign of how the car has been cared for ;)
For most RR - The only true value is wheel torque. Tell us what the rpm and figures were for peak torque/hp at the wheels.
Robbos, all car forums the same mate ;)
Sorry to see the damage :(
Console yourself that it's probably people that are jealous little wasters with nothing in their lives, no IQ and no future.
Yep the brakes are certainly one of the strongest points, if I haven't driven the 200 for a while I forget how good they are and invaribly push too hard the first time :)
I'm in France, Lyon most of the time (including now), where do you live, Brittany?
Just out of info - What do track days cost in France (chap at work has been asking)?
I have to disagree totally, I drove 1000km in less than 10h (Ipswich to Lyon) with only minor stops in my 200 Cup, perfect for motorway cruising. Yes it's firm but the feedback is great.
It had to be a Cup for me when I drove both, standard suspension is to soft for enthusiastic driving:D
I just got 35 mpg over 2 tanks fulls at an average speed of 76mph (way down to south of France) motorway all the route ;)
Although I know the 197 is less economical.
Horses for courses, I love the V6 but it would not be my choice if buying a RWD sports car, it's still a Cliio at the end of the day :(
I'd go for S2000 (already owned one for 2 years), 350Z etc and get something designed as a sports car from the ground up, rather than a shopping hatch...
