One thing I dont understand? A you planning on dropping in a 172 lump and not telling the insurance company youre 1.2 has now become a 2.0 with double the horse power?
Surely a 1.2 with a 172 engine would cost as much if not more to insure than a real 172?
Also surely a 1.8T engine would be...
Yeah
A VTR is only group 7 and a Zetec S is 8. 1.2 16v is group 3 im sure
Some insurance companies have their own rating though. A Cup is group 9000 in my company which means basically we wont insurance it cheaply to anyone under 60:)
Gutted for you mate but £3.5k is more than 60% of the...
Dont like massive bore exhausts on tiny engines!
My friend had a massive Peco on his Metro and I had a standard Metro (same engine) - I could wipe the floor with him!
Like shooting a pea out of an elephant gun!
Same as my friend.
He bought a mk4 Astra SXi in November (told him not to buy a new vauxhall!) - over 5 years. Its now worth 7k but he still owes 8.7k
LOL!
Cant work out how to bolt my spare Turini down in the wheel well. The plastic bolt just isnt long enough.
Surely it cant be a different part to the one in the 172 or normal clio.
Never knew my car could do a ton in 3rd.
Not quite as impressive as Jons old Evo 2 was on the M1 after an orange Nova flashed to overtake.
3rd 80..90...100...110 4th 110...120.. 5th 130.......140......150:o
1.2 16v Clio should be almost as quick as a 1.4 Saxo Furio or West Coast (75bhp too but they are alot lighter though)
1.1s are only 60bhp.
You should have the edge.
remember when a young lad in a Saxo 1.0 Scandal tired to race my VTR. LOL!
Cant believe knowones spotted the racing seats LMAO!
Thing is you never know -the winning bidder may have had a reserve bid of £150
People seem to pay silly prices for things on ebay - they get carried away
Seen things like phones and Ipods go for more than they cost in the high street.
