In days of old, like 5 years ago+ used to be a way of resetting your phone if it crashes doing that. But not heard anyone do it for years! Just turn it on and off again. Be fine.

Fair one, but any diesel built in the last 20 years I’d safely say has a turbo on it.

Did you plan on fitting this turbo kit if you managed to find one? Probably wouldn’t advise that if you didn’t know your car had one in the first place Pmsl! I can’t think of a diesel that’s not had a turbo since the old Peugeot 205s.

radio Has two feeds. One is a permanent live. One comes on with the ignition. If it’s had a aftermarket radio in it, those feeds might have been swapped round. Does the radio work if the cars got no keys in it?

Some aftermarket radios you have to swap round the live and permanent live. So maybe it needs swapping round again.

Is the switch in the correct position?

Don’t see the problem? Nobody is forcing anyone to buy that car, they can sell it for whatever they want.
