Hi Guys Got a issue where 1 front coilover doesnt make the clicking sound when you adjust the damper. Also 1 rear coilover doesnt make the clicking sound when I adjust it. Is this a common issue? Is this something that I can fix my self or does it need to go in to a shop to fix. I think they...

this happened to mine once, I was convinced it was the circlip (left hand side) . After removal turns out it was fine, checked the right hand side and the drive shaft had completely sheered off where it joins to the second drive shaft, new drive shaft and it was good to go.

Ok turns out the drivers side drive shaft the end that goes into the gearbox the inside spline of the drive shaft had turned to dust. every tooth completely ground off. luckily the gearbox end is all sweet, new drive shaft and i should be sweet!

yeb but i think i can make it slip, I now think its the right hand inner drive shaft spline is gone, Now I been told you can simply press the old one out and press a new one in, any ideas on this?

Any help Guys? need this fixed ASAP as I'm driving me mums Kia around!

gear box model is JC5 130 C005268 = 182 box correct?

OK So I think I was wrong as after removing the drive shaft I find that I must have a later model gearbox that doesnt have simply a circlip it has 4 bolts and a frame holding it all together, see pics bellow. In the process I drained all the oil out and found no metel shavings just nice clean...
