They were knackered though, garage weren't really helpful today he just said go back to how it was before. It must be able too be done as loads of people have lowered them just need too know what people that have done it done
The springs are only loose when jacked, the reason he would fail it is due to the fact if I flew over a bridge which I wouldn't they could come out of place
Long story short, I've lowered my Clio on 40mm apex springs and got new shocks all round whilst I was at it but it turns out the shocks are too long and the springs slightly drop out of location when jacked and wheels drop, the front is fine just the rear, need advice ASAP as too shocks I need...
I see what you mean now, yeah want low profile tyres definitely, yeah I span my 1.2 360 degrees going around a roundabout about once, the scariest part was the Audi A6 I nearly hit :/
Yeah love it, great fun! Yeah will need some new tyres soon and want a full set, unsure what pots are? Haha
Don't think I'm gonna do much else too it now quite happy with it now
Springs and dampers all fitted, 8 hours In total not too bad for first go
Before
After
Have a slight bit of play in rear shocks, will they bed In or should I put some shims on the end of the shocks too space them out?
