Hello, Right my car is having a intermittent problem that when sometimes I pull up too a stop the car will cut out on its own and the squiggly orange electrical fault light comes on, can wont start but turns over but if I give it some gas it will eventually start. Also my idle isn't normal...

Failed alternator?

Much easier just too lift the ht leads 1 by 1, its very easy and will take 30 seconds :p

Just fixed my misfire, code reader couldn't find any faults but it was the coil pack in the end. Take the top of the leads off 1 by 1 with a pair of plastic grippers and see if one isn't firing.

or you could risk the 30p it cost for resistors though!

best bet is fitting 3.3ohms resistors (from maplins) to the connections under your seats, its usually the seat connections that throw the lights on the dash up!
