    Clicking Radio/CD Player

Everytime I turn the car on there's a clicking noise that comes from the Radio CD Player - I just give it a whack on the side and it stops. Sometimes happens when putting a CD in, or ejecting one. Any ideas?

    PHP code headache

Keep getting the "Error Editing" message, which is really really annoying me as I can't see what's wrong. This page is posted an array from a previous page, which is 'print_r'ing correctly. It breaks before the update. Have I missed something really obvious? if (isset($_POST[id])){...

    Autotesting shots

Been fairly disappointed with what I've produced lately from 'mainstream' motorsport, so took a little trip out to a local Autotest today. Only 5/6 cars turned up for it and the cars were shared between three or four people per car. Just a couple from my facebook album, straight from the...

    Sunsets

Sky was particularly red tonight, so thought I'd break the camera out for a bit of shooting. Not fantastic pics, but was just playing around with Aperture really. More (of the same): http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=129905&id=222304875&l=82c2f

    PHP and dates

Got dates stored in a MySQL database in the format: 2009-05-02 00:00:00 Pulling these out into a table using a mysql_fetch_array and would like them to display as "2nd May" instead of 2009-05-02 00:00:00. Easiest way to go about doing it? I have tried finding results on Google, so please don't...

    Cheap Flash

Is this going to be any good as a close range flash? I want to get one for the D40, but can't really justify spending too much as will be buying a prime lens soon, need to keep some pennies in the pocket! http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/332600/jessops-300afd-digital-flashgun-for/

    Cracked ABS Ring

How big / expensive a job is it to get these replaced at a garage? Renault quoted £300 for a new driveshaft as "you cannot buy the rings seperately, so it needs to be a whole new shaft"...?

    It's clean(er than it was)

Looking out for some alloys, so hopefull can get some on soon. Couple of scratches to tidy up (and ABS to fix) and it'll be fine.

    Loose nut/rubber thing.

I doubt that this is related to the ABS problem; but, this morning when filling up the washer fluid I noticed that the circled nut was loose and I had to tighten it back up. I'm guessing it's quite an important nut and holding something together, so it shouldn't be loose? (stole someone...

    ABS Kicking In

I apologise if this is a reeeeeepost, but as 3-letter searches don't work, I can't tell. The car is due a service, so hopefully they'll pick up on this - had ABS and Service Light on for a while, but i understand this affects a few people. When I brake to a stop from a sensible pace, just...

Few from Croft Xmas Stages Rally

Went up to Croft for the Rally and came back with a few decent shots, haven't been through in any great detail, not much editing gone on either. Chanced upon some guy overcooking it, shame it didn't come out sharp. The following car didn't slow down enough...

    Indoor Sports

Has anyone ever tried taking indoor sport photos? Any examples to show off? I'm unsure how my snaps will turn out, not really used to all the settings on the DSLR yet, assuming I'm going to need a fairly high ISO as the lighting won't be incredible.

    RAC Rally (Scarborough)

Been experimenting with manual-mode photos for a while, some cropping involved, as the D40's kit lens isn't really zoomy enough; but no other processing. Opel leaving the frame [1/60 f11] Half of #51 [1/160 f6.3]
