Yes. I bought this set really for the front discs and pads. They were all brembo, all new, they are the grooved discs and they cost £70 for the lot. If I have to spend a bit on bearings and abs rings I don't mind but it seems some people have trouble pressing the bearings in and the abs rings
I've just picked up a full set of front and rear brembo grooved discs and pads. They were brand new and cheap. I intend certainly fitting the fronts however the rears will need bearings pressing in and ABS rings fitting. Now I'm guessing I'm never really going to get any benefit for normal use...
I've just had an MOT failure due to a broken rear spring. I'm just hunting around the net to find a replacement or a pair of. Mine have a red and white stripe on the top coil. There seems to be a mixture of these and some with just a white stripe. What is the colour coding meaning. I'm still...
Probably done somewhere before but what is the general opinion on these things. Do they cause more damage than they save. Are they the preserve of the VDub brigade. Are they the best thing since sliced bread.

Seems very strange neither side is lit. I've posted something on the Trophy forum just in case they weren't on the trophy, I don't want to start stripping the door if they aren't faulty
You could be right there. I'd not considered lighting and not actually been in it in the dark. I'm having a couple of marks on the wheels sorted in my mates paint shop so will have a look when it comes back.
I've asked this question of the Trophy forum team but no one can solve it.
If I lift the drivers/passenger door handle and look under it there is a black vinyl "pod" about 5cm long x 5mm across. Into it go 2 very thin black and red wires. It is stuck onto the door panel immediately below the...
He didn't want to sell it and hadn't advertised it but a house moving opportunity came up at the same time put a wanted ad on the forum and was waving some pound notes under his nose!!
Well owner actually, as of today. It was a 6 hours round trip to pick up #449 but worth the journey. The car is in fantastic condition and has had a fortune spent on it mechanically in recent months. I've already got an Alien Green 200 so looking forward to comparing the 2.
Here's a couple of...
You sound lke my wife !!:S
I had never had a renault until december and just love the car but I wanted to try and get the newer 200 as a bit of a keeper as i think good ones will be sought after by those disappointed with the 1600T model. I like the shape of the 200 so when I saw Jays car for...
They are quite different. Just getting into the car the Recaros in the 200 make you instantly feel more part of it. From the engine perspective the power delivery is very similar but the exhaust note is quite different with the nice buzz which comes in at 3000rpm on the 197 not coming in until...
After buying the 197 in December I loved the car and the driving experience so much Ive been hunting for a full spec RS200. I had to travel from Doncaster to Southampton to get the car but it was well worth it.
Previous owner way Jay on here, he has looked after it very well.
A few pics of...
