Hello all, need to get the cambelt changed on my dci 100 next payday and just wondering how much I should expect to pay for a garage to fit it? I can get the kit elsewhere its just fitting it. Thanks in advance :)

That spec should run the games fine.

I had 2 tyres changed and tracking done a few days ago at National Tyres. Would recommend :)

only thing is the injectors cant handle more than 130bhp on the dci's

Cheers for the comments. Still pondering whether I should do it or not I might as well something different even though no one would notice lol. Anyone know how much a body shop would charge on average to spray the side bump strips, and front and rear bumper bump strips? And spray the bullets...

Actually I kinda agree with you on that. Maybe I wont have all blue letters. I think silver bullets will look good as flame red 172's look good red with silver bullets. I think silver bullets will give a fresh look with silver 172 alloys and lowered. What colour shall i have the letters then...

When I get the bump strips colour coded im thinking of getting the bullets silver and the dci letters all blue. The dci 65 has no blue letters on the side bump strip, the dci 80 has a blue I and the dci 100 has a blue ci. Im also getting the car remapped so thinking of getting all the letters...

Get it remapped! You will get around 110bhp proabably and even more mpg

Im thinking of going with either Radical Remaps or Celtic Tuning. Anyone ever used these?

I had mine done today along with 2 new front tyres, cost 30quid for the tracking. I had them done at National Tyres. Car used to shake when I hit 75mph on motorway (highly annoying). Took the car on motorway afer I had them done and now its dead smooth even at 90 :)

Hmmm so 130bhp would be a bit risky with the injectors only being able to handle that? Do you think I should go for 125bhp? Is it really possible to see 218lbft of torque though? From the standard 147lbft? Thats a huge increase! And if the injectors can handle 130bhp does it matter how much...

Is Ktec the place to go is it? Its 80 miles away and more expensive though

I have been quoted by a company called Celtic Tuning in Exeter £295 for a remap on my dci 100. They said the gains could see from 100bhp up to 130bhp and from 147lbft torque up to 218lbft torque! Could my engine handle this? I think I remember someone telling me the injectors can only handle...

Probably only because your first car was a petrol lol. My first car was diesel so I prefer diesels. They have there differences.

If they are still Renault clio alloys it shouldn't be that much more on inusrance. They might not even charge you. I'd go for clio 172 or 182 alloys :)

Yeh I would look into getting a dCi. Get the 100 if you can as its quite a bit quicker but still dead cheap on tax and fuel etc. And you can remap it to around 125bhp if you want a bit more power and torque.
