Sounds to me like you had it on amps. Theres no way to 16 volts in a wire unless you have sixteen volts at the battery unless you have fitted a transformer (and I doubt you have!).
Running a new wire might be the easiest solution although you have to wonder if owt else is up.
If your...
I use MagnaTax. £1.99, fek all to see from the outside so look really neat and the easist way to change the disk. Great design IMO. Maybe we could get a ClioSport printed one?
The metal ones are too much hassle.
Im geting some eventually. I like the new style black lights K-Tec are doing (with silvervision bulbs in). They arent that different from standard in layout and maintain the clear indicator/reverse light circle in the middle. Theres just less red which I think will look subtler on the black car...
Okay this is what I would do mate:
Connect a live from the battery (with a fuse) to both the red and yellow wires from the HU and neg from the battery to the earth. If the radio you have wiring fault. However I doubt this will happen as the fuse is blowing in the HU, as I said any short before...
If the fuse in the HU is blowing mate it isnt wiring thats at fault.
If the yellow wire was shorting to earth then there would be no feed to the HU.
If you want to test it connect a pos (with its own fuse) to the battery pos and one to the neg and connect em to the HU. See if the HU fuse...
Update guys:
The chaps at Richbrook actually said they would look at my suggestions for improving the design and two days later they sent me a replacment set free. Cant fault em for customer service.
They sent me a catalogue too and Im thinking about having the flush fit valves fitted. There...
On the subject of cheques, a word of warning:
A cheque is NEVER cleared. EVER. Theoretically the cheque could still bounce three or four years down the line. This is however highly unlikely.
A cheque is cleared for interest and withdrawal purposes after three working days provided it is paid...
There is a short to earth somewhere on the live feed. If you cant find where run a new feed from the fuse box to the radio. If it isnt that then the radio is knackered and shorting internally but thats unlikely.

Speedos are not made accurate. The law states that a speedo must be accurate to +10% ie that it must be accurate read upto 10% faster than your going. This is because things wear over time. Speedos are made so that as wear occurs they get more accurate. Speedo these days use less moving parts...
Just had a cobra 2-1 upgrade done, with window close. Basically one or both windows sometimes stop before they are fully closed. The dealer says that there is a thermal cutout on the alarm and that my windows are stiff and the alarm is cutting out because the motors are getting hot.
Thats...
My aim was to make the kit invisible with the minimum amount of drilling and I didnt want to have a cradle clutering up the car. This way I leave the phone in its case or in my pocket.
I have to park mine in the bank car park and I live on the thrid and fourth floors above the bank with the bedroom on the other side of the building to the car park. I sleep with the all the doors and windows open so I can hear the alarm but some mailto:tw@t">tw@t is always nicking my dust caps...
I mounted some 1" Pioneer tweeters on the inside of the wing mirrors and they look great imo but then I needed the dash tweeters - I used them instead of an extra speaker for the phone H/F.
If you get tweeters that have the brackets designed to put them in bigger speaker holes then taking the...
I wouldnt bother, since the new style plates people ask you "What year is it?" not "What reg is it?". If you check the trades youll see 2004 Renault Clio where you used to Y Reg or whatever the letter was.
I got mine 3 weeks before reg day and its a 53 but Ive only ever been asked the year...
I only need to charge the 6230 every other day so why would I want to have a wired H/F kit? I keep a 5 quid car charger in the glovebox just in case.
Wired kits are phone specific too, I can use this with any Bluetooth phone.
