Been to look at a 172 today at the telford renault dealer, seems nice but they wanted £7000 for it!! hes going to call e back tomorrow to see if his boss will let it go for £5000 plus my Rreg astra worth about£600. lets hope its good news from him 2morrow...
just had an email back from the seller of the car, he says the cambelt hasnt been done but it's reflected in the price... how much is the work for the cambelt roughly???
my car is only worth 500squid so ill probs buy the clio then flog my astra after! that cool?? haha
yeah that car in the other thread is pretty dam similar, same rims aswell!
it says its got 66,000 i think! i'd prefer one with lower miles.. but as i've been informed, if the cambelt has been done then there shouldnt be much to worry about.... yeah?

used bell b4, they are ok, but try a quote with tesco "value" insurance.
its fully comp cover but "no frills" so dont get to choose where to take your car if it needs repairing etc. . .

hi, looked at a couple of 182 cups over the weekend and found that some (which were new unregistered) didnt even have the leather suede seats!!! just some nasty cloth ones? are the leather seats extra???
definatly wait for the remap untill you've had the exhaust sorted, i only changed the springs on my last car, it was fine, i'd probably only change the dampers if you are serious about track driving etc.
the headphones with my 2nd gen nano are indeed shocking! i thought they were great untill all the rubber started to peel off around the edges leaving my ears to get scratched to hell! :nono:
