i got a quote from tesco got a quote for a 172cup for £520!! fully comp. I'm paying more for my 1.6!! Ive got 4years no claims so that kinda helps

well it opened up more roads that are possible to over take on... 3rd pulls like 2nd gear on a 1.2 that's the only way i can think of explaining it.

ive got one and love it, loads more grunt then the 1.2 but its still not a 2.0 although i was driving in front on a spirited cs meet and a few people was asking who was driving at the front and assumed it must of been a 172 and not me in my 1.6.

How hard is it to do a 2l conversion? There's always engines popping up on eBay and cheep Donner shells. i know a bit about bikes but cars i know nothing! is it some thing that can be done by a novis in a garage? any online guides or will a Haynes manual give me the basics i need?

They build the ultima just up the road from me and they do go over speed bumps, think its more to do with what they want to show as in the lambo getting beat by a scooter never got shown :(

got two mates just building a R1 mini altogether think its costing them about £14k Z-cars is only about 7miles from me too the work shops full of fun toys like the ultima thats got the world record for 0-100-0 and the original bat mobile!!

had my car in for some work and the speedo wont register my true speed 30mph says 25 and any thing over 80mph just says 80-85. wheres the pick up for the sensor?

my cars been in repeatedly for the abs and service light. its had about 4 abs speed sensors now so they decided to look into it more. They discovered a fault with a drive shaft so took it in today to get the part fitted and also some new pads and disks. driving it home the lights still came on...
