I've know engines that the belt has gone and they ahve been fine, others have endfed up with 16 bent valves. if you can do the work yourself fix it, if not a valver engine can be picked up for a couple of hundred quid. Cambelt is 10 times easier to do with the engine out of the car

    Cheap, and from what i hear best soloution, change oil to mineral oil, run fi a few hundred miels and change back to fully synth, sorts the problems right out. Tucks you really ought to get over to williamsclio where you get proper advice ;)

    won't help it doing that, try lower tyre pressures Mine skips on bumps going round corners, btu then i have coilvoers on the hardest possible settings and run high tyre pressures....suits my driving style
