WTF!?!?
Cambelt couldn't be easier lol, old belt off, new belt on, line up the timing marks and tension
You can change it in the car, but tbh for all the hassle that it is messing about with the cambelt i'd have the engine out, head off, swap the gasket and do cambelt, tensioners, and water...
yes they are
Williams engine, or 1.4 engine??
Obvous bits externally, belts, water pump, depends how far you wanna go, head gasket, stem valve oil seals etc etc
I use my car on track, on several tracks didn't have any fade with fast road pads, and they are ALOT better then Ferodo DS2000 pads, and so ALOT better than std
might be belt or might be pulley squeeking, if it doesn't do it when pulling off especially bad hten it won't be belt slipping.
Not an easy job in the valver engine bay by any means.
Any motor factors will sell the belt
less play
Get the bracket off the box from a 1.8/2.0
Got a dogbone mount you can ahve for free thats totally fucked if you cover postage, normal type like
Yopu all know nowt lol
Valver/williams rear beam is stiffer as it has 2 bars (iirc), its either 2 or 4, and other models have 1 or 2.
Also the valver/williams rear track is wider, so unless you are planning on getting valver rear arches welded in it woudln't fit. At donnignton measuring...
The adjustment bit is the same, how ever where it goes to the drums is different, IIRC they dont' have the problems with mechanisms failing, differnnt cables too, shorter IIRC
Its called an inlet manifold *rolls eyes*
Will require a gasket, whether you can re-use the old one or not is debatable, personally i'd never re-use a gasket
Jack it up and see if both wheels are holding, if not check that oen of the cables hasn't snapped.
If they are both intact the mechanisms ont eh rear calipers for hte handbrakes are known for going, i can supply a working caliper if required.
To adjust it remove the the centre section...
Here's an idea, odd one but here we go.
This is how it works, you get your torx bits out and go out tot he car and try them in the hole till you find one that fits, would have taken all of about 2 minutes rather than waiting over an hour and a half
No rears are different
Have to remove teh front half of the cxaliper, remove hub nut and pull disc off (hub puller might be required), then wind back piston on caliper and refit it all
Try it for a short drive without teh air filter, if its clogged that could be the problem
Check that the baffles haven't collasped int eh exhaust and are blocking it, and similarly that the cat isn't blocked
