A good wash mit, and using the two bucket method a good start.

On the older Renault that I've owned R19,meganes there a white wire, that likes to work it way off the starter motor. Not sure if the newer renault are the same, But if there are , then it's a simple, push it back on job. Simple spade terminal

The bite point on my Clio the same high, However on the megane it very low. But looking above it seems normal. Welcome to CS.

Today around 4 pm ish, with overrun, Popping and banging like a Air bomb repeater ,

Nowt wrong with 1.4s. Mine just a ex 5door shopping trolley , but it still does the job.

Upto 39 MPG now on the same run above. Tyre pressure, and a run seem to have helped.

I'm getting around 30 MPG, on my daily run to work, BTW That is only 3 mile away and only yake 10 min's to get there normal driving. Alltho it not the higher MPG Renauly claim, It sound about right with the car not getting up to temp.
