brutal, seemed like a pleasant enough kid on the microphone going by xbox standards poor thing
compared to the usual screamy over the top annoying as f**k people
nope. something you said from an old thread when i was talking about my car with cams on stock ecu :D
i believe you were repping aftermarket ecu as the only worthwhile way of going with cams... but i will stand corrected
could be tdc then, does that to the revs on some cars...dunno about clios.
try the battery, if not then the tdc... clean the tiny probe end of it as its prob coked over will be good to clean it anyway even if its not the problem.
tdc can affect starting i.e making it turn over rough or longer than usual to start, it wouldnt be that sudden unless disconnected,
disconnect the battery for 15-20 mins reconnect and try, also ensure that batterry has a good ground...and all main cables are connected on the loom...to where...
rear tyres on it are 205 (excessive i know but i had them knocking around so chucked them on) rubbing on the strut i think so will need some spacers...
182 alloys prob only be temp, would quite like to get some steelies on it polished up silver for the more van look...
Picked up a nice little spoiler for her, of a dynamique i think, or a flamer rs, not sure...
looks good though, so tried to get some paint for it but failed
(see http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=470996)
in the meantime i keyed the paintwork up with some very fine grit wet n...
I had a little bit of the good old cheap and cheerful lense tinter knocking around from previous cars so I put a few layers on the rear lenses and they came out a tad darker but nothing silly.
having picked up a second rs 172 engine along with bodies forged pistons brand new and lots of other bits for my Cup i found myself with a spare v. good condition 172 engine which i might be inclined to dump it in there in the future but for now i am enjoying the frugalness of the dci!
I picked up a set of 182 alloy wheels for silly cheap as they were curbed and grazed guaged to hell, with a dab of metal filler , and a hell of a lot of sanding i got them looking pretty minty, and went for a solid black finish.
Well i have been working on my ACTUAL project Clio cup for quite a while now, building up bits n bobs alround to get a 230-240bhp N/A cup.
As a result i am finding myself with lots of odds and sods that i have used on a newishly aquired Clio van i purchased after sacking off the L200 warrior...
i did take a copy to the retest and they said it wasnt related or some Bullshit but it passed so whatevers... need to change the rears discs n pads any way the bearings were doing my nut so thought sod it o the lot.
i once failed an mot on this and they told me to put a load of crap in the back and it will be better ! no word of a lie ! (because it was stripped out)
i changed the rears discs pads and bearings bled the brakes and tightend up the handbrake cable and sent it back in and it was fine. didnt...
cool thanks guys & girls (needsta!) so turns out i was right and Halfords were spazzas who cannot mix paint to save their life!
any one recommend a paint mixery company that i can order online or something?
Cheers all !
