will bosh some clear laquer on for now and polish them up like a mad detailer see what they are like... Any one got any tips for painting the wheel centre caps? mine seem to flake a little...i keyed them up and stuff but didnt really work...any ideas?

good shout, the lense tint stuff has made them sort of matt finish... didnt think to laquer them...will do it tonight if i can be arsed to venture out into the cold...

bit you can only do up when off the car with the hole strut or you talking about the topmount i.e the bit under the bonnet that you can out an AL key and spanner on?

well tighten it up... shouldnt b loose, did you replace the guide bit and the bearing that goes underthe bottom of the rubber thing your talking about and the top metal bit above the spring

corrosion / limescaley s**t, i bet you my bottom dollar that it is just the contacts that the bulbs go too, i have had this on 2 diff clios, basicly clean up aka scratch up the contacts with a small flat head or something similar then try... wires dont usually just randomly snap in half....

is that even a real website? i.e not a scam.
